Sagemont Prep suffered their closest defeat since January 30th on Friday. They fell just short of the Cypress Bay Lightning by a score of 44-42. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sagemont Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cypress Bay, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Sagemont Prep will welcome Langston Hughes at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cypress Bay, they will be taking part in a tournament against Centennial at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
