Mundelein had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Grayslake North Knights. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mundelein was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14.

Leading Mundelein to victory were Zack Nocera and Rance Cruz. Nocera had 19 assists, while Cruz had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs Cruz has posted over his last seven games. Creed Morton also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Mundelein's record is now 17-2. As for Grayslake North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Mundelein didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Warren Township on the 30th. As for Grayslake North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Lakes on the 29th.
