Football Game Preview: Macomb Bombers vs. Elmwood/Brimfield Trojans

The Macomb Bombers will square off against the Elmwood/Brimfield Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elmwood/Brimfield took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Macomb, who comes in off a win.

Macomb barely beat Knoxville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bombers blew past the Blue Bullets 42-19 on Friday. Considering the Bombers have won four games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Elmwood/Brimfield was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-6 loss at the hands of Marquette. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Macomb's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points over those games. As for Elmwood/Brimfield, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
