Basketball Recap: Blackfoot Skates Past Century with Ease

Blackfoot won the last time they faced Century and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blackfoot Broncos blew past the Century Diamondbacks 50-19. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 25 points or more this season.

Leading Blackfoot to victory were Addison Tanner and Sara Hone. Tanner posted 13 points, while Hone went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points. Tanner has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Cambrie Waterhouse, who scored seven points and six rebounds.

Blackfoot smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Blackfoot and bumps their season record up to 12-5. As for Century, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Blackfoot will welcome Shelley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Century, they will be playing at home against Pocatello at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pocatello knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Century likes a good challenge.
