Richmond Senior unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Lee County Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Richmond Senior took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 26-24.

Richmond Senior has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Purnell Swett on the 14th. As for Lee County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Northwood on the 14th.
