Marion lost to Sterling back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Black Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Their offense was headlined by Kate Watkins and Dylan Kraus, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Shaliah Ensley and her 13 assists. Shyann Harris and Kiersten Wildin kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Marion's record is now 11-16. As for Sterling, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-13.

Marion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Berean Academy on the 9th. As for Sterling, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Moundridge on the 9th.
