Soccer Game Preview: Caldwell vs. Salado

The Caldwell Hornets will face off against the Salado Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Caldwell is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Taylor on Friday. They came up short against the Ducks, falling 6-0. Caldwell have struggled against Taylor recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Salado waltzed into their contest on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Their defense stepped up to hand the Titans a 7-0 shutout. Salado might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by three goals or more this season.

Salado's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
