Volleyball Recap: Olentangy Orange Takes a Loss

Olentangy Orange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Licking Heights Hornets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 12th.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-18.

Olentangy Orange's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Licking Heights, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olentangy Orange will welcome Ross County Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Licking Heights, they will square off against New Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
