Basketball Recap: Canton South Comes Up Short

Canton South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 50-36 fall against the Triway Titans. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Canton South now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Triway, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Canton South Wildcats duke it out with the Manchester Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Manchester knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Canton South likes a good challenge. Triway has already played their next game, a 72-50 victory against Waynedale on the 21st.
