Albert Lea has gone 9-1 against Faribault recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Albert Lea will be strutting in after a victory while Faribault will be coming in after a defeat.

Albert Lea's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over Jordan.

Albert Lea's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Preston Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Graham Goskeson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Kasson-Mantorville hit Faribault with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons fell just short of the Komets by a score of 6-5. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Faribault's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Albert Lea, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Albert Lea took their victory against Faribault when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
