Softball Recap: Fuqua Falcons vs. Southampton Academy Raiders

Fuqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 14-11 to the Southampton Academy Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fuqua of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.

Lottie Mae Hazlegrove and Collins Easter stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hazlegrove scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Easter scored a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Hazlegrove is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last four games she's played.
