Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Lafayette Central Catholic lost against Benton Central back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Bison, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-4.

Lauren Johnson paced Lafayette Central Catholic's offense, picking up six kills. Johnson got some help from Paige Perez and her nine assists.

Lafayette Central Catholic now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Benton Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette Central Catholic will host Indianapolis Lutheran at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Benton Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lafayette Jefferson at 6:00 p.m.
