Softball Recap: Kinder Takes a Loss

Kinder has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.63 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against the Jena Giants, falling 11-2.

Kinder's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Jena, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

While Kinder had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
