Football Recap: Scituate Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Scituate finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Hingham Harbormen and fell 50-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Sailors were not able to get on the board.

The loss snapped Scituate's winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 10-2 record. As for Hingham, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Scituate will challenge Tewksbury Memorial at 12:45 p.m. on December 6. The Redmen's defense has only allowed 8.1 points per game this season, so the Sailors' offense will have their work cut out for them. Hingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
