Baseball Recap: Olympia Comes Up Short

Olympia lost against Timber Creek back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Titans fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by just one run.

Jack Riley was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Olympia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Rathmann, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Olympia's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-11. As for Timber Creek, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-7 record.

Olympia has already played their next matchup, a 5-2 loss against Palm Harbor University on the 5th. As for Timber Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bishop Moore on the 4th.
