Softball Recap: Ray Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Ray's offense. They came up short against the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles on Friday, falling 24-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Texans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Ray's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ray is set to face off against their familiar foe Miller at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial will challenge rival Alice at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
