Basketball Recap: Sweet Grass County Has No Trouble Against Shields Valley

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Huntley Project, Sweet Grass County was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Shields Valley Rebels 57-38. The Sheepherders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

Sweet Grass County's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Shields Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Sweet Grass County will welcome Shepherd at 4:00 p.m. on February 8th. Sweet Grass County is on a four-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Shepherd a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Shields Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Gardiner at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Shields Valley is facing Gardiner at the right time seeing as Gardiner is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
