Volleyball Game Preview: Los Banos Tigers vs. Pacheco Panthers + How To Watch

The Los Banos Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Pacheco Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Los Banos is headed out to face Pacheco after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over McLane on Tuesday.

Los Banos had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Los Banos relied on the efforts of Maliyah Salas, who had ten assists and five aces, and Janelle Leon, who had 21 digs and ten kills.

Pacheco not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 23, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Turlock Christian 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Los Banos skirted past Pacheco 3-2 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
