Bleckley County's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Jefferson County Warriors a 12-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Royals considering their one-run performance the game before.

Kaylee Rae Barrs made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Barrs was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Bleckley County got a big performance out of Cayleigh Francis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Francis also put up two hits, which wereher first of the season. Another player making a difference was Emmie Williams, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, and a run.

As for Jefferson County, they will square off against Glascock County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Glascock County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
