Volleyball Recap: Willow's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Willow had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Crescent City Christian Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-21, 25-11.

Leading Willow to victory were Kennedy Miller and Chloe West. Miller had five kills and three aces, while West had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs West has posted over her last three matchups.

They weren't the only good server: Willow was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Willow picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-2. As for Crescent City Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Willow will face off against West St. John at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crescent City Christian, they will challenge Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
