Volleyball Recap: Heritage Extends Winning Streak to Three

Heritage entered their tilt with Rome on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wolves. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Generals also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2015.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Heritage was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rome, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Heritage and Rome will both be playing Christian Heritage the next time they take the court. The Generals will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
