Providence School is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They really took it to Trinity Catholic for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-31 win. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, San Jose Prep earned a 54-46 victory over The First Academy on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

San Jose Prep's win came from a few key players Providence School will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lamiyah Hogans, who went 8-for-10 en route to 25 points and six boards. What's more, she also posted a 80% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2023. Jazlynn Curtis was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Providence School pushed their record up to 22-6 with the win, which was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points over those games. As for San Jose Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.

Providence School took their win against San Jose Prep in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 60-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Providence School since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
