Sunbright hadn't done well against Jellico recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 69-61 victory over the Blue Devils. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Sunbright's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Bunch, who posted 18 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. Levi Webb was another key player, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 23 boards.

Jellico lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Trey Vann, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 16 points and seven rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gavin Dabney, who had 15 points and seven boards.

Sunbright's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Jellico, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunbright will take on Midway in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Green Wave have now posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. Jellico and Williamsburg will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
