University had won five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 4-0 to make it six. They put the hurt on the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Delaney Lauer paced University's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lauer got some help from Kenley Rudiger and her 25 assists. Rudiger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

As for Windsor Charter Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-3 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since November 9, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Windsor Charter Academy had strong showings from Aubri Penfold, who had ten digs, two aces, and one block, and Emma George, who had 19 digs and one assist. Penfold is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Weld Central on the 9th. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Banning Lewis Academy on the 6th.
