Softball Recap: Sequoia Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Sequoia's offense. They came up short against the Notre Dame Tigers on Friday, falling 11-0. The Ravens haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Sequoia's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Notre Dame, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-11-1.

Sequoia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame, they will host Watsonville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcatz have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.81 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
