Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. The contest between them and the Trenton Trojans didn't end well, with the Roosevelt Bears falling 51-35. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 655th, while the Trojans are ranked 250th).

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Trenton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will welcome Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trenton, they will challenge Carlson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
