Moore Haven's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Immokalee Indians 5-4. For the Terriers, this counts as revenge for the 12-8 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Brooklyn Sergent made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, Moore Haven let Khloe Desroche and JoEllen Erskin run wild. Desroche went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs, while Erskin went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Moore Haven's record now sits at 11-3. As for Immokalee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore Haven will take on Frostproof at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Immokalee, they will square off against Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sentinels will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
