Baseball Game Preview: Cullman Bearcats vs. Southside Panthers

For the second straight game, Cullman will face off against Southside. The Bearcats will take on the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cullman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Cullman heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They came up short against Southside, falling 17-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bearcats have suffered since April 11, 2025.

Carson Stancil made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Brock, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Southside has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Cullman, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-9.
