Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Jefferson

Jefferson came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Los Angeles Romans 27-4. Considering the Democrats have won six games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Los Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will host Dr. Maya Angelou Community at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Los Angeles, they will be playing at home against Manual Arts at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Romans are facing the Toilers at the right time seeing as the Toilers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
