Baseball Recap: Wood River Wolverines vs. Twin Falls Bruins

Saturday just wasn't the day for Wood River's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Twin Falls Bruins on Saturday. Wood River has not had much luck with Twin Falls recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Wood River saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Uhrig, who went 1-for-2 with a double.

On Twin Falls' side, they got a great performance from Wesley Vinson as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Nolan Lehew was a standout: he scored two runs while going 1-for-1. Wyatt Solosabal was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Wood River's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Twin Falls, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.
