Victor held off unbeaten Pittsford for its 34th-straight win and it remained in the top spot in the Xcellent 25 National Boys Lacrosse Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.

McDonogh stayed right on Victor's tail, however, by winning a big showdown of its own. The Eagles needed two overtimes but beat Boys' Latin, 10-9.

1. (1 last week) Victor (N.Y.), 12-0
The Blue Devils made it 34 in a row with three wins last week, including a 9-6 win over previously unbeaten Pittsford. They also beat Irondequoit 13-6 and Cazenovia Central 16-11.



2. (2) McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.), 15-1
The Eagles went two overtimes to beat Boys' Latin 10-9 and also topped Archbishop Spalding 18-4.

3. (3) Monte Vista (Danville, Calif.), 20-0
The Mustangs completed a perfect regular season with an 8-6 win over San Ramon Valley.

4. (4) Bullis (Potomac, Md.), 18-2
The Bulldogs topped Lake Braddock 15-0 and St. Albans 17-8.

5. (5) Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.), 18-2
The Purple Eagles won twice, beating Bishop Ireton 16-2 and St. Marys Ryken 19-6.

6. (7) Darien (Conn.), 12-0
The Blue Wave won three times last week, beating Staples-Westport 17-5, St. Anthony's 8-7 and Ridgefield 11-5.

7. (8) IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), 12-1
The Ascenders were idle last week.



8. (10) Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, N.J.), 11-0
The Panthers' win streak hit 34 in a row after beating Hillsborough 12-1.

9. (12) New Canaan (Conn.), 12-1
The Rams bounced back from their first loss by winning three times. They beat Fairfield-Ludlowe 14-4, Fairfield-Warde 10-1 and Brien McMahon-Norwalk 14-1.

10. (21) Locust Valley (N.Y.), 13-0
The Falcons won a battle of unbeatens, topping Cold Spring Harbor 10-9.

11. (9) Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.), 11-1
The Seahawks lost their first game of the season, falling 10-9 to Locust Valley. They also beat Clarke 17-4.

12. (6) Boys Latin (Baltimore), 12-3
The Lakers bounced back from a double overtime 10-9 loss to McDonogh to defeat Gilman 16-8.

13. (13) Landon (Bethesda, Md.), 15-3
The Bears won their only game of the week, beating Robinson 17-12.



14. (14) Culver Academies (Ind.), 16-3
Culver won twice, beating St. Xavier 18-4 and Brother Rice 10-3.

15. (18) Deerfield Academy (Mass.), 10-1
The Big Green knocked off Lawrenceville 15-11 and Hotchkiss 17-3.

16. (19) Brunswick School (Greenwich, Conn.), 12-2
Brunswick School topped Choate 14-12 and Westminster School 11-2.

17. (15) Summit (N.J.), 14-1
Summit lost for the first time this season, falling to Westfield 7-6 in two overtimes. Summit also beat Scotch Plains Fanwood 8-2 and Old Bridge 14-1.

18. (16) Delbarton (Morristown, N.J.), 13-1
The Green Wave won three times as they defeated Jefferson Township 19-4, Randolph 17-2 and West Morris Central 7-6.

19. (17) St. Anthony's (Melville, N.Y.), 11-2
The Friars suffered an 8-7 loss to unbeaten Darien, but defeated St. Dominic 11-7.



20. (20) Haverford School (Pa.), 13-4
The Fords won twice, beating Episcopal Academy 12-5 and Penn Charter 14-8.

21. (11) Calvert Hall (Baltimore), 13-4
The Cardinals defeated St. Mary's Annapolis 7-6, but lost to St. Paul's 9-5.

22. (22) Malvern Prep (Pa.), 14-4
The Friars defeated Germantown Academy 16-4 and Springside Chestnut Hill 16-5.

23. (24) Ridgewood (N.J.), 14-0
The Maroons remained unbeaten with a 19-4 win over Ramsey, an 11-9 win over Bergen Catholic and an 11-10 win over Northern Highlands. Ridgewood meets Summit this week.

24. (NR) St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, Va.), 15-3
The team's only losses this year are to Haverford School, Landon and Bullis.

25. (NR) Sparta (N.J.), 14-0
Sparta is one of the top small school programs in New Jersey.
