Softball Recap: Dawson Springs Takes a Loss

Dawson Springs lost against McLean County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Cougars, falling 21-6. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kalyn Cotton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

Dawson Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for McLean County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11-1.

While Dawson Springs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
