Volleyball Recap: John Carroll Catholic's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

John Carroll Catholic barely beat Okeechobee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams put the hurt on the Brahmans with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

John Carroll Catholic never let Okeechobee on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

Halle Delince paced John Carroll Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Delince got some help from Lila Theberge and her 12 assists. Meghan Childs and Kaylee Maikranz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

The victory was the third in a row for John Carroll Catholic, bringing their record up to 3-0. As for Okeechobee, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Carroll Catholic will venture away from home to challenge Treasure Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Okeechobee, they will head out to square off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
