Doane Academy put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Pemberton Hornets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Doane Academy also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Doane Academy's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Pemberton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Doane Academy will challenge Pennsauken at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Indians have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pemberton, they will take on Florence Township Memorial at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
