Recap: Commodore Perry Panthers vs. Iroquois Braves
The Commodore Perry Panthers lost a heartbreaker to the Iroquois Braves when they met back in December of 2017, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Commodore Perry had to suffer through a rough 84-32 loss at the hands of Iroquois. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Commodore Perry in their matchups with Iroquois: they've now lost four in a row.
Iroquois' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Orlando Brown led the charge by scoring 13 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Kellen Burroughs, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Commodore Perry's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Iroquois, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Commodore Perry will head out on the road to face off against Portersville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iroquois, they will be playing at home against Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
