Soccer Recap: Appomattox County Comes Up Short

Appomattox County managed to slip by Nelson County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders came up short against the Governors on Wednesday, falling 7-0. Appomattox County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Nelson County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Appomattox County and nudges their season record down to 3-6-2. As for Nelson County, they pushed their record up to 7-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
