With a playoff win on the line, Green Mountain rose to the challenge on Saturday. They breezed past the Golden Demons to the tune of 50-6. Considering the Rams have won ten games by more than 25 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Marissa VanGuilder, who picked up 54 receiving yards and two TDs.

The victory was the third in a row for Green Mountain, bringing their record up to 12-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Golden, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Green Mountain has already played their next matchup, a 40-0 victory against Denver North on the 18th. Golden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
