Jordan Empie was a major factor in West Catholic's victory over Pewamo-Westphalia on Saturday. Empie wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her eighth straight with two or fewer walks.
