Baseball Recap: Pymatuning Valley Beats Mathews for Their Fourth Straight Win

Pymatuning Valley hadn't done well against Mathews recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Lakers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Mustangs. The victory was familiar territory for the Lakers, who have now won four games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Croston, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Pymatuning Valley is undefeated when Croston posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Croston, who went 3-for-5 with four stolen bases and two runs.
