The Crown Point Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 67-49 victory over the Hammond Morton Governors on Wednesday thanks in part to Richie, who went 8 of 16 on her way to 20 points in addition to five assists and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last seven games she's played.
The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Punak, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Despite the defeat, Hammond Morton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kylah KP Patterson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 19 boards. Another player making a difference was Dalanie Jones, who posted eight points and 11 rebounds.
