Volleyball Recap: Belvidere North Takes a Loss

Belvidere North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Guilford Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14.

Belvidere North's record is now 0-14. As for Guilford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Belvidere North is set to take on their familiar foe Freeport at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Guilford will square off against rival Belvidere at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
