Basketball Recap: Concord's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Concord had won three straight games and Connor Stevens did his part to make it four on Tuesday. Everything went the Concord Yellowjackets' way against the Colon Magi as the Concord Yellowjackets made off with a 64-41 victory with plenty of help from Stevens, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. He has become a key player for Concord: the team is 13-3 when he posts at least ten rebounds, but 4-6 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Jordan Medellin, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Colon, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-7 record.

Concord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-54 defeat against Lenawee Christian on the 6th. Colon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
