Football Recap: New London Comes Up Short + How To Watch

In Friday's Canine Competition, New London didn't have enough. They were dealt a 48-6 defeat at the hands of the Winneconne Wolves on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Brody Schaffer was a one-man wrecking crew For Winneconne. as he threw for 265 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Schaffer a new career-high in passer rating (156). Bryce Jones was another key player, gaining 115 total yards and three touchdowns.

New London's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Winneconne, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New London will host Shawano Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winneconne, they will square off against Sheboygan Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
