The Baldwin Indians will challenge the Creekside Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Baldwin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Baldwin took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past Bishop Snyder 13-3. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Kendall North, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most triples she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madison Crews, who earned two RBI and two runs.

Meanwhile, Creekside hadn't done well against Oakleaf recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Creekside narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Oakleaf 5-3.

Carly Dall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Maddie Hollis was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Madison Muniz also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Baldwin's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Creekside, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Baldwin was able to grind out a solid win over Creekside when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
