It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Andrews ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They managed a 78-72 victory over the Hayesville Yellowjackets. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

It was another big night for Ty Clark, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 boards. Kegan Ellis was another key player, putting up 17 points and five assists.

Andrews is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Hayesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrews has already played their next contest (against Swain County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hayesville will head out on the road to square off against Murphy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Murphy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Hayesville likes a good challenge.
