Anderson won against West Clermont on Monday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Raptors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Turpin Spartans 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Raptors: when they faced off against the Spartans back in April, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Corbin Newberry looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances.
