Baseball Recap: Heber Springs Comes Up Short

Heber Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Midland Mustangs. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 17-6.

Heber Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Midland, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Heber Springs will challenge Batesville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Midland, they will square off against Bald Knob at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
