Football Game Preview: Jefferson Patriots vs. Seagoville Dragons + How To Watch

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Seagoville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Jefferson managed to keep up with Hillcrest until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Patriots came up short against the Panthers, falling 30-6. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 6-0 in the first quarter.

Jefferson might have lost, but man, Aaron Oliva was a machine: he rushed for 94 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Seagoville's offense. They were outmatched by South Oak Cliff and fell 48-0. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 736th, while the Bears are ranked fourth).

Seagoville's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
