 Sewickley Academy is 0-7 against Eden Christian Academy since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. Sewickley Academy will be playing at home against Eden Christian Academy at 4:30  p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 On Saturday,  everything went Sewickley Academy's way against Monessen as Sewickley Academy made off with  a  14-4 win. With that  victory, Sewickley Academy brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.
  Jordan Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Smith was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing five bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Nolan Donnelly was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Billy Pietragallo, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Eden Christian Academy stacked  a  seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Bishop Canevin 11-1. The  win was nothing new for Eden Christian Academy as they're now sitting on four straight.
 The team  relied heavily on  Brady Hull, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Noah Emswiler was another key contributor,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Sewickley Academy's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-4. As for Eden Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Sewickley Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.3  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eden Christian Academy struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.8. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Sewickley Academy might still be hurting after the  16-2 loss they got from Eden Christian Academy  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Can Sewickley Academy avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
