Softball Recap: Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia hadn't done well against Beardstown recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Trojans came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 6-1. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Mylee Tracy made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia let Raye Greenstreet and Addison Rohn run wild. Greenstreet went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Rohn went 3-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most hits Rohn has posted over her last 12 games.
